I've always been the type of person who wants to understand how things work. I believe technology should support the way a business operates, not become another obstacle to overcome. That belief led me into technology and has shaped more than a decade of designing secure, reliable systems for businesses of all sizes. After earning my degree in Computer Information Systems from the University of the Fraser Valley, I've focused on helping organizations solve business problems through practical technology, not technology for its own sake. My goal is to build solutions that are dependable, scalable, and simple enough that people can focus on their work instead of the tools they use.
My family is the center of my life, and I'm incredibly fortunate to share it with my wonderful wife and five amazing kids. Some of my favorite days are spent cheering from the sidelines at hockey and lacrosse games, camping together, hiking new trails, or discovering new places through their eyes. I also enjoy curling with my local club, playing football, reading, and exploring Canada's incredible wilderness. Whether it's a weekend in the camper, chasing salmon through the Fraser Valley, or dreaming about one day sailing the coast aboard a coastal cruiser, I believe life's greatest adventures are the ones shared with the people you love.

When I'm not working, you'll usually find me somewhere outdoors. I traded Colorado for the Florida coast because the ocean always felt like home. These days I spend as much time as I can traveling, exploring new places, seeing the world from different perspectives, or spending a quiet day with a fishing rod in hand. My three-legged cat, Leilani, has joined me on adventures across the country, and I've always enjoyed caring for animals, from beekeeping to raising chickens and ducks. I believe the best experiences come from staying curious, meeting new people, and embracing the fact that we're all fortunate to share this little space rock together.
